HI, I'm Shayla and I am thrilled to be a student at Collage Dance Conservatory!

Dancing has always been a part of who I am - it's like it's in my DNA. Some of my most cherished memories are dancing with my great-grandfather. Though he's no longer with us, I still remember the way he smiled as we danced together. I know he'd be proud to see me following my passion today.

This year, I am diving deeper into ballet, and I can’t wait to improve my skills. But Collage isn't just where I learn to dance - it's where I can truly be myself, grow, and share my love for this beautiful art form.

I took my first ballet class at Collage in 2022 and it was amazing. I remember the first time I put on my ballet shoes and I felt like I could fly. The encouragement from my teachers and classmates has made every class an adventure and taught me about perseverance and teamwork.

This year, I am trying to raise $500 to support Collage. Your donation will help keep our studio vibrant and provide great opportunities for the 400 students that attend Collage. Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to me and help keep dance alive in our community.

Whenever a member of our Collage family faces a tough time, the Collage community comes together to give support. One of my classmates faced a tough time and almost had to quit dancing. But the amazing teachers and supportive dance family at Collage helped her keep going. That's the type of community Collage is - one where everyone lifts each other up and helps each other shine.

Collage is passionate about providing exceptional dance education and creating a nurturing environment where our students can thrive. However, to sustain the high quality of our programs and ensure they remain accessible to every student, we need to address a significant funding gap.

While average tuition is just over $1,000 per year, the actual cost of providing our comprehensive training and resources exceeds $2,000 per student.

That’s a gap of nearly $1,000 for every student in the Conservatory!

Collage Dance has been absorbing that cost – and we will continue to do so – because we believe that in order to inspire the growth of ballet, the best training needs to be available and accessible to any student who wants it.
